Meet the Cast

Ellen Revesz as Mallory O'Ryan

As someone who was raised on ABC soaps, particularly General Hospital, Ellen is thrilled to join the cast for season three of ‘Soap and Bubbles’. Equally adept at both comedy and drama, some of her previous roles include: ‘Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating and Marriage’ (Miss Abigail) and ‘5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche’ (Vern) at The Theater Project; ’Science’ (Patricia) at Theater for the New City; ‘Romeo and Juliet’ (Nurse) and ‘Pygmalion’ (Mrs. Higgins) at Nuyorican Poets Café; ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’(Martha) ‘Twelfth Night’ (Sir Toby Belch) and ‘Sweat’ (Tracey) with Black Box PAC; ‘My Big Gay Italian Wedding’ and ‘My Big Gay Italian Christmas’ (Angela) at Avenel Performing Arts Center. Ellen has also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. She has a BA in Theater Arts from Western Connecticut State University.

Danielle Meola-Valencia as Amy O'Ryan

Danielle is a NJ-based actress with credits throughout the Tri-state area, including the second generation of the People Garden Touring Company. Some favorite theatre credits include Carly Cargill in Three on a Dime for the Acorn Theatre-NYNW Festival, Lucille Frank in Parade, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Susan in Tick, Tick... Boom!, Fiona in Shrek, and Percy Talbott in Spitfire Grill. Film credits include Tess in the upcoming "Accepting Charlotte." Danielle 'daylights' as an elementary music teacher/theatre director/dance instructor when not reading books, playing board and video games, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Dana Patrice as Summer Taylor

Dana is very excited to be apart of Soap & Bubbles.  This past March she was cast as the lead, Ciara, in a short film titled “The Marriage Gambler”, to be premiered later this year.  Other recent credits include, Rebecca, in “A More Perfect Union” produced by The Pushcart Players and a Featured Ensemble/Dancer in LONJ’s “Ragtime”. Dana would like to thank her good friend Dan for not only always styling her in the most incredible vintage fashion but also for thinking of her for this project. She continues to be grateful for her family and friends and their continued love and support of her dreams.

Mark Piltz Jr. as Mark Hardy

Mark is a NJ-based Singer/Actor/Musician who is making his on-screen debut in Soap and Bubbles! A reasonably proficient guitarist/pianist/vocalist, Mark streams music on (most) Friday nights at Twitch.tv/Ravenmane. Mark has worked primarily in stage productions of musicals. Favorite previous credits include: Spring Awakening (Hanschen), The Who's Tommy (Tommy; Perry Award Winner), The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Andrew Jackson), and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Jimmy Smith). Mimi Frances as Delores Taylor

Excited to be a part of this talented cast, Mimi has performed on stage in NYC, LA, NJ, and San Diego and with jazz bands. Regional: Ghost of Christmas Present, (A Christmas Carol-McCarter Theatre); Oda Mae Brown (Ghost – The Musical) & Nell (Ain’t Misbehavin) UPAC (Rahway, NJ); Queen Linda, (Something Like a Fairytale-Hudson Guild); Harriet Powers, (Quilting the Sun -NYC Dream Up Festival), Other roles: Vera (4,000 Miles); Linda Loman (Death of a Salesman); Woman in Red (For Colored Girls...); Medda Larkin (Newsies); Sadie Delany (Having Our Say), Abuela Claudia (In the Heights), etc. In film she was seen in Fame, music videos and several industrial videos. Grateful for family & friends on this artistic journey.

Arthur Gregory Pugh as Benny Baldwin
 

Arthur is an ACE member of the New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative and a voice-over talent that has done commercials for the NY Red Bulls and the FDNY. Improv lessons to enhance his VO work led him more into the field of acting, landing him a role as Mr. Irving in the independent film Downshift. He has appeared in music videos by Jadakiss and Dyme-A-Duzin, as well as an episode of Investigation Discovery's True Crime with Aphrodite Jones. Theatre credits include Fences (Troy Maxson), A Soldier’s Story (Sgt. Waters), and Death of a Salesman (ironically, Ben). Lover of R&B and pound cake, but not necessarily in that order.

Gonzolo Valencia as Diego
Gonzalo Valencia wrote his first song at the age of 14 for his high school rock band and has never stopped writing since. His love for musical theatre writing began in college while under the guidance of his late teacher and mentor, BILL GILE (Tony Award Nominee - Best Director, VERY GOOD EDDIE). Gonzalo has spent the better part of a decade writing original music, lyrics, and arrangements for many different projects having readings, concerts, workshops, and full productions of his original work performed at 54 Below NYC, The Duplex, Montclair State, Rutgers/NJIT, 4th Wall Theatre, Irvington Town Hall, and Bergen County Performing Arts. Closest to his heart is the work he has done and continues to do with his collaborator and partner in crime, Michael Campbell. He hopes their current project, “Goblins & Gates,” can help bring a whole new generation of nerds and weirdos into the wonderful world of musical theatre. Gonzalo Valencia is a proud immigrant who teaches AP Physics to inner city kids by day and works as a freelance music director/musician by night. Zachary Mazouat as Ross Reilly

Zach Mazouat is a high school art teacher and dog-dad during the day but never misses an opportunity to perform in his free time. He is very involved in New Jersey community theater as both a director and a performer. Some favorite past credits include. Seymour Krelborn- Little Shop of Horrors, Leaf Coneybear- 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Jamie Wellerstein- Last Five Years and Budd Frump- How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He would like to thank Dan for providing him such a fun and zainy outlet for all the pent-up energy he has from the past year. Make sure to tune in for season 2!

Casandra Daly as Tracy Love
 

Cassie was born in Guyana but raised in Queens NY . She graduated college with a degree in Veterinary Technology and then decided to pursue a career in modeling. Her most memorable accomplishments include modeling for Fenty Skin & Beauty, a Sephora Campaign and recently being a talent in Allure’s Melanin Hair Campaign. Outside of modeling, she enjoy creative directing her own shoots and recently picked up pole dancing as an aerial sport.

Sarah Schoendienst as Heather
 

Sarah majored in musical theater at NYU, then sometime later became a speech therapist.  Her favorite roles include Eliza in My Fair Lady, Philia in Forum, and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes.  She loves horses, yoga, and long walks on the beach.  Soap and Bubbles was as exciting for her, if not more so than her stage debut as Grizabella in Cats at the Spring Lake Community Theatre kids workshop in 1996, and she’d gladly do it all over again (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).  She’d like to thank Dan Schulz for including her in this project.  Peace, love, and joy!

Harris Miller as Danny O' Ryan

Soap and Bubbles marks the acting debut for this  soon to be 4th grader. When he is not acting alongside his buddy Archer, Harris enjoys building with Legos, exploring the stream in his backyard, chasing the ever elusive bullfrogs that live there, and reading about World War II. He loves history and dinosaurs and watching Star Wars with his mom and sister. His favorite color is green and his favorite ice cream is chocolate.

Craig Tiede as Blake Montgomery, MD

Craig Tiede (Dr. Blake Montgomery) is an actor, director, producer, and playwright working in New Jersey community theater. He’s a three-time NJACT Perry Award nominee for Best Actor in a Musical for his performances in Jekyll & Hyde, I Do! I Do!, and Fun Home. Directing credits include Marvin's Room, Casa Valentina, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Meet Me in St. Louis, The Best Man, and Spring Awakening for OLT; Little Miss Sunshine and Falsettos for StageWorks; Little Miss Sunshine for Main Street Theater Company; and, Anyone Can Whistle and Into the Woods at Ithaca College. A longtime soap fan, Craig scheduled all his college classes around All My Children. He's thrilled to finally be a daytime dreamboat!

Archer Mickan-Schulz as Archie O'Ryan

Archer is making his acting debut in Soap and Bubbles. He loves to go for rides, cuddle with his Daddies and snuggle with his brother and sisters, Phoenix, Wrinkles and Sophie. Now that he has been bitten by the acting bug, he is very happy to return for Season 2 of Soap and Bubbles! Archer hopes everyone watching S and B will go to their local shelter and adopt someone who looks like him!
